We’re proud to share that Sofija Kekez-Baran, from the DeTeA research group at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, presented Circ-Boost at the Concrete and Circular Economy (CCE’25) conference, held in Hammamet, Tunisia from April 10–13.
Her presentation, titled: “Demonstration of a circular building process at large scale: CircBoost Pilot project in Norway”, highlighted the innovative work being done as part of Pilot 4 in Vesteralen, Norway. The talk focused on the practical use of recycled concrete aggregates, and the close collaboration between academia and the construction industry to promote more sustainable demolition and building practices.
Events like #CCE2025 are essential for fostering dialogue and progress on waste valorization, low-carbon solutions, and the transition to a more circular built environment.
