This work introduces a semi-automated GIS-to-BIM methodology that transforms CityGML LOD3 models into layered BIM structures – enabling accurate material quantification to support circular construction and renovation planning.
The research contributes to WP4 of the Circ-Boost project, focused on developing a 3D Web CE Map to assess circularity potential of existing building stock.
