Our representatives from Norwegian pilot presented the municipality’s steering group with a status update of Circ-Boost, and our ambitious goal – building a net zero museum in Sortland!
Yesterday our Norwegian pilot partners UiT- The Arctic University of Norway, STIFTELSEN MUSEUM NORD, GAIA Vesterålen, Reno-Vest IKS & Lundhagem gave one of Sortland’s municipal steering groups a status update on the GaiaBygg and Circ-Boost project. Their goal is an ambitious one – to build a net zero museum – but together with a solid team of collaborators, we think they can succeed!
They had more than an hour at their disposal in meeting and presented together with three central collaborators. Since their last update, Jens-Henrik Andersen has taken on the role of Project Manager, bringing considerable construction management experience to the project. Kristine Røiri is Sortland Municipality’s Lead Architect and facilitates robust collaboration between GaiaBygg and the Municipality. Last but not least, Boy-Arne Buyle serves as Senior Engineer at Institutt for Bygg, energi og materialteknologi (Institute for Construction, Energy and Materials Technology) at UiT- The Arctic University of Norway and brings experience from the CIRCULUS project on reusing concrete to their team.
They’re now moving into the optimisation phase of the project. Stay tuned for further updates!
