On March 11, 2025, professionals from local authorities gathered in Paris 🇫🇷 for the workshop:
“Reuse Platforms: Focus on the PEMD System, Digital and Physical Platforms”
Hosted by Cap Digital, the event explored the role of local authorities in implementing the PEMD diagnostic (Products, Equipment, Materials, and Waste) and leveraging digital platforms to enhance reuse strategies in the construction sector.
Two key initiatives were presented:
- Circ-Boost, with a spotlight on the French pilot led by Metropole du Grand Paris and CSTB, which aims to optimize reuse through a metaplatform and flow prediction.
- LIFE Programme #Waste2Build, developed by Toulouse Metropole, which promotes the reuse of construction materials and waste reduction.
In the afternoon, participants visited a physical reuse platform, gaining practical insights into how these digital strategies are implemented on the ground.
