As part of a Europe-wide initiative funded under Horizon Europe, Circ-Boost is advancing circular economy solutions across the construction value chain. Each of its pilot projects showcases real-world applications of circular practices – and now, the Czech pilot is stepping into the spotlight.

Set in the Modřanský Cukrovar redevelopment site in Prague, this pilot project led by Skanska demonstrates the use of recycled aggregate concrete (RAC) in structural elements and facades, integrated with low-carbon materials and innovative production methods such as 3D concrete printing. The result? One of the most forward-looking residential projects in the region, designed for both environmental and economic sustainability.

This 1h 15 minutes webinar offers a unique look into how circular principles are being scaled up – from material innovation and concrete certification to technical challenges and regulatory navigation. The session will feature speakers from Skanska, the Circ-Boost coordination team, and experts from the construction sector.

Key Highlights:

  • How Rebetong and RebetoNG are reducing carbon footprints while meeting structural demands
  • The developer’s perspective on integrating circularity into large-scale urban redevelopment
  • Technical insights into recycled concrete performance, certification, and digital tracking
  • Real-life experiences from the Modřany pilot site
  • Open Q&A sessions with developers, engineers, and project leaders
