Last week, at the premises of the School of Civil Engineering in Madrid, a Symposium on High-Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete was organised by Escuela de Ingenieros de Caminos, Canales y Puertos and Grupo de Ingeniería Estructural of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid, Fundación Agustín de Betancourt, and Circ-Boost project partners Acciona.
The Symposium addresses different aspects of the use of High-Performance Fibre Reinforced Concrete in civil engineering structures, and José Vera-Agullo, Concrete Group Manager in R&D Department at Acciona, among other topics, presented Circ-Boost project in his presentation on “FRC potential and use: contractor’s point of view”, commenting on the benefits of reusing construction elements and materials.
Acciona is Work package 7 – TRAIN leader in the Circ-Boost project, where they will train the construction workforce and other key stakeholders to adopt Circ-Boost ICS in their processes.
