Third Session of the Circ-Boost MOOC on Selective Deconstruction Opens for Registration
Following the first two sessions, the Circ-Boost MOOC “Selective Deconstruction” is returning for its third edition, starting on 7 September 2026. Registration is already open.
Co-developed by CSTB and ORÉE, in collaboration with UGE, Eiffage, NGE, Cap Digital, Métropole du Grand Paris and other stakeholders from the construction and circular economy sectors, the MOOC provides practical knowledge and guidance for professionals and students interested in selective deconstruction and circular construction practices.
Building on the first two sessions
So far, 130 learners have successfully completed the programme, coming from construction, architecture, engineering, deconstruction, the public sector and academia.
Feedback from participants demonstrates the practical value of the course, with 97% of respondents reporting that they improved their knowledge of selective deconstruction.
Participants particularly highlighted the quality of the educational content, expertise of the speakers, practical case studies and diversity of perspectives presented throughout the course.

- Roles, responsibilities and coordination between project stakeholders
- Material identification, characterisation and life cycle assessment
- Deconstruction planning and methodologies
- European regulatory frameworks and circular economy requirements
- Reuse pathways and material recovery opportunities
- Technical terminology and best practices in selective deconstruction
The course is particularly relevant for professionals working across the construction value chain, as well as students and others interested in applying circular economy principles to the built environment.
