Pilot 5 Update: From recycled materials to real homes – Prague, Czech Republic

In Circ-Boost’s Pilot 5, circular construction is moving from concept to large-scale implementation in a residential project in Prague’s Modřany district.

🏗️ 𝗧𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝗷𝗲𝗰𝘁 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗹𝘂𝗱𝗲𝘀:
• 800 apartments
• 40 commercial spaces
• Industrial-scale deployment of circular solutions

♻️ 𝗞𝗲𝘆 𝗶𝗻𝗻𝗼𝘃𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻:
• Recycled Aggregate Concrete (Rebetong) reducing the use of natural resources
• Low-carbon concrete mixes lowering emissions
• Prefabricated façade panels and urban elements made from recycled materials
• 3D concrete printing technologies

📊 𝗣𝗿𝗼𝗴𝗿𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝘀𝗼 𝗳𝗮𝗿:
• 21% of structures built with recycled aggregate concrete
• 19% CO₂ reduction using low-carbon concrete
• 31% recycled water used in production
• Nearly 50% average recycled aggregate replacement

This pilot demonstrates how circular solutions can be integrated across the full construction value chain – from materials to design and production.
